I'm setting up a new workspace for graphics and video editing, planning to acquire a used Apple Mac Pro, or perhaps an iMac will suffice. These machines are notoriously expensive, however. My budget is capped at 5500-6000 TL.
Is buying a pre-owned model sensible in this price range?
What kind of specifications and performance can I expect from a used system within that budget?
Will a system in this price bracket handle graphics processing and video editing smoothly, given that these are demanding tasks?
If I choose a Mac Pro, the monitor cost is included; if I opt for an iMac, I'll need a 27-inch display (I understand the price differences). Would a 21.5-inch display meet my needs?
My initial plan was to assemble a standard PC and install macOS, but now I prefer a Mac (I already have a system with macOS installed).
I welcome advice and recommendations. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. If anyone has a used Mac for sale or can point me towards sellers, I'm interested.
