My laptop is an Acer AN515-57 model. I'm trying to establish a maximum temperature threshold for the CPU.

Setting a power limit through ThrottleStop isn't very effective. Even with a 35-watt cap, the temperature still reaches 95°C.

The fans operate at low speed because I haven't selected the high-performance mode, leading to excessive heating. Switching to high-performance mode makes the fans extremely noisy. Is it feasible to set a temperature ceiling, say, 75°C or 80°C?

I've tried a file, XTU_Temp_Watchdog.zip, suggested by ChatGPT, but it didn't resolve the issue.

I'm considering applying new thermal paste, Arctic MX-4, to potentially solve the overheating. However, this voids the warranty, and I need to use the laptop for at least another year.
