I'm setting up a new workspace for graphics and video work, and I'm considering a used Apple Mac Pro, or perhaps an iMac. The cost of these machines is, as you know, quite substantial. My budget is around 5500-6000 TL.
Secondhand options seem appealing given the price. Are used models a wise investment at this price point?
What kind of performance can I expect from a used Mac in this price range? Will it handle graphics processing and video editing smoothly? These tasks are demanding, after all.
If I opt for a Mac Pro, the display is part of the total expense. For an iMac, I'd get a 27-inch model (I'm aware of the price differences). Would a smaller 21.5" screen suffice?
My initial thought was to build a regular PC and install macOS, but now I'm leaning towards a Mac (I have a macOS system already).
