My Asus Tuf A15 Fa506mu laptop, boasting an RTX 4060 and a Ryzen 7 7840HS processor, currently has 9 GB of RAM. I'm planning to enhance its memory capacity.
Adding another 9 GB module for a total of 18 GB is one option. Alternatively, I could install a single 17 GB stick. A third choice is combining the existing 9 GB with a 17 GB module, resulting in 26 GB. Finally, I could opt for two 17 GB modules, bringing the total to 34 GB.
Is 34 GB excessive for this machine? Will I see a noticeable performance boost with this much RAM? Are there potential issues with a 26 GB configuration (9 GB + 17 GB)? I need some guidance to make the optimal decision.
