My Lenovo LOQ 15IAX7 laptop wouldn't boot after a memory upgrade. I installed identical RAM, as suggested by the manufacturer's specs. The system failed to display anything; it remained stuck on a black screen for about 4 minutes.
I tried switching the RAM modules between the slots, but the problem persisted. Testing only the new RAM resulted in the same black screen issue. However, the computer starts normally with just the original RAM installed.
Is the new memory module faulty, or did I make a mistake during installation?
